I would like to suggest the good old (more than 12 years old !) Italy map.

I think it has what is needed for a huntserver:

-Only few good camp spots, that CT can start hunting from
-Possibility to RB to those campspots for zombies
-Narrow streets like Office maps, which will make hunt more interesting
-Places for zombies to hide and make traps, if CT are too many

I think map as it is is pretty well balanced for hunt servers, but perhaps Xylon has to take a look at it :)

Hey Hail Baby,

actually there is a modified zm version of this map available among special maps. If I am not mistaken, it's zm_echo_italy_reloaded.

I actually removed that map due to bugs.

Maybe it is not tha complicated to take the sdk hammer editor and add starting spots + make the map for 64 players?

or / and

maybe a map designer can fix the bugs in zm_echo_italy_reloaded if they are recorded

Maybe lets start with a ToDo-List cause I like the idea of going to Italy for Zombie Hunting:

  • Map is currently only for 20 players per team (so 40 max.)
  • Hostages still in map
  • Here a demo of the flashlight problem: flashbug.dem
  • Also this (visual) bug: wallproblem1.dem
  • In the "container-room" if you fall between the containers you cant get out (box to high): stuck1.dem (not attached)
  • near CT start: tree not real (cant bump into it): tree_sky1.dem (not attached)
  • near CT start: visuals bug (no walls, sky, can see level bottom) tree_sky1.dem (not attached)

I have also always played zombie - and Italy was with zombies back then :)

Anyway , you should try Italy, if you can find a server with the map - I think it could be great - with a little / big green field (with some boxes) added

@WolfRam It would be great if you could help! You are experienced in map making? Because I am not and maybe we can work together.

If needed I have my own password protected public CSS Server and we can test the map there together if needed.
