jump to high place such like boxes

When i play Zombie mod and see someone trying to jump to high place such like boxes, it looks hilarious, but is not. In the end, he got knifed by zombie.
This tutorial is for them, hope you will learn how to jump.

instructions:
Crouch before jumping or crouch in mid-air is best jumping to boxes, windows, high places or anything else

Forward* + Jump + Crouch*

* Keep holding these two

Also, it's easier to do it with your back (backward* + Jump + Crouch*)

Do u press forward or not ive tried both and none have worked?
