Just played v1_6.. and really enjoyed it!
It's nice how most of the campers hide in the garage and aren't annoying anyone. And it's always fun to watch them go down :D
Every single spot seems to be very well balanced.
fps were a little low but despite my (relatively) low graphics card it was...
I had a quick look at it ingame.
Ofc the water is expensive.. but it would be a shame to make it cheap and ugly. Maybe working on some other things will do.
As you can see, there are many things visible that don't need to be visible from that position. (shelves, tree, car etc)
I'm not sure if...
It looks very promising, I hope it will be uploaded soon :)
@SOUR: What about V5? I'd prefer playing it on another server though. Unlimited ammo sucks :/
Thanks for the feedback :)
I already have some ideas. I'm not sure if and what I should do about the big hall though. I guess it's just not a good idea to go down there when there are too many zombies^^
b2 - Changelog:
- removed the table from the underground secret room
- added a teleport inside the cage doors (in case somebody gets stuck)
- moved 14 spawns from the storage room to the cooling towers
- Better fps in some areas
- Radar overview
- Nicer ceiling in the cooling tower hall...
Yeah I've played a few rounds now :)
Well it's rly big.. unfortunately we were only 10 players or so. I can hardly wait to play on a full server :)
The camping spots in the big hall seem to be balanced, but it's too early to say that for sure. The others I haven't even seen yet.
Some more screenshots (work in progress).
First 3 pics are the underground train station.
Last screenshot is a sentry holding off zombies (until there are too many).
This is going to be an abandoned and/or overrun basement beneath the ocean, I'm planning to add much more detail than in my previous maps (while keeping the FPS stable ofc).
Hopefully it's going to be really spooky ;-)
