Regarding the reason, when you click on application forms > ban/gag & unban/ungag request. Then go to the bottom and click on "Gag Request". instead of "Ban Request".

Also remember that you can click on "Edit Post" down in the right side of your thread/post, so you don't have to make a new post with the proofs.
