Hey y’all!

My son first found EH zombie server and got me to play with him. It’s hard to find high population servers these days on CS:Source so I found it quite the riot when I joined. That was two or three years ago now. My kids have been poisoned by the addictive Roblox but they occasionally play with me on EH still.

I play almost entirely on EH and AWP clan crackhouse. AWP clan GunGame was the love of my life until the 64 bit upgrade broke the server and a legend was dead forever. GunGame broke my brain and became an antagonizing rage inducing experience that’s lasted beyond the death of the server.
Gaming wise if I’m not playing CS:S I play EverQuest on the Cazic Thule server.

I am from Oregon, USA - the west coast. I have a wife, four young boys and a dog named Arnold.

Amongst hobbies I don’t get to do anymore I enjoy taking my kids on nature hikes, getting them out of the house to a park with a bitchin’ play structure and teaching them about the world and life.

Work wise I have a few different jobs. I’m primarily self employed doing landscaping and I absolutely love it! Being in nature amongst beneficial microbes and nurturing plants bestows a particularly strong sense of connection to the earth and reality.

In the summer time I work as a wildland firefighter which I’ve done for 13 seasons. I work as the supervisor of an engine crew and we suppress wildfires as needed in the western part of the nation — and let me tell you, it’s one of the greatest most dynamic jobs I’ve ever had.

Cheers!

Welcome to our (sometimes) nice Community!
Enjoy your stay my friend! :- )

That’s an awesome story sounds like EH brought some great family gaming moments your way. It’s rare to find good high-pop CS:S servers these days, so I get why it stuck with you. And RIP to that GunGame server… some of those modes really rewire your brain in the best (and worst) ways 😅

Much respect for juggling all that landscaping, wildland firefighting, and raising four boys is no small feat. The way you talk about nature and your work honestly sounds pretty grounding and meaningful. Your kids are lucky to have those hikes and life lessons, even if time gets tight.

Also… Roblox got the kids too huh? Oh no not Roblox haha! 😂 At least they still hop on CS:S with you sometimes that’s a win.

Cheers back at you!
