What's the deal with CS:GO servers?

Hi all,

I wanted to check out the CS:GO servers, but I was able to connect.

I might ask a stupid question, but what is the purpose of "SURF" ? I saw some tutorials on how to, but do you guys get to shoot somebody or it is just gliding along?

Also, is there a Zombie server on CS:GO?

The surf servers are mainly for fun, you do not shoot other players. You can go on there and socialise with others or try to beat your personal records on each map, try different difficulties and challenge yourself and so on.
Also we do have a zombie escape server at 149.202.87.83:21625 which you are welcome to join anytime, perhaps we can get another event going on there sometime in the near future.
