Hello guys

Been a while since I posted on the Mapping Section ^^

Yesterday I was thinking why not making Ze_atix_helicopter to be suitable to Zombie mod and not only for Zombie Escape mod. I uploaded the BETA version just for the sake of testing. I believe this map has lot of potential

CHANGELOG:
  • Helicopter will now circle around the map infinitely and there will be no nukes at the end of every round
  • 1 Secret room has been closed
  • Added few more entrances for 1-2 spots that might be overpowered when overcrowded with Humans

KNOWN BUGS:
- Helicopter does not receiving any lights so it might appear dark aka no textures aka I hate Hammer


I know Easy is quite busy and it might take a while since it could be tested, in the meanwhile if someone want to help and have suggestions how to improve spots and etc to reduce the testing phase is more than welcome

Hey mate,good to see you back in the mapping forum,it's been a while.Welcome back!

I like your ideas regarding a map that's been such a "monument" in terms of zombie mod.
I don't believe anyone has ever played this mod without playing on atix.

I have some questions regarding your version:
1) Are these openings closed on purpose to help the balance of the spots or is there any other idea behind such move?

2) I couldn't help but notice you removed the teleport trigger on this OP crouch spot and it's open again for people to hold ( bad idea)

3) Smooth out these stairs in the back because as of now you have to jump up on every single step to get to the top,pretty sure this wasn't intentional,just a mistake.

4) What's the idea behind this? I thought it was another way to get up and jump across but the lamppost isn't solid,you can't actually walk or stand on it.

Hey mate, thx!

Regarding 1 - Those should be closed on purpose, one zombie can finish it all IMO soo decided to closed them completely. Tbh I was just lazy to edit all the way soo in the upcoming versions they will be completely closed (ladder/entities and etc will be removed)

2 -Tbh I didn't know about this spot - Ill block it completely as it look useless and OP

3 - Seems like because I use old an version of this map the stairs are bugged, ill fix it in the next version.

4 - There should be an invisible blocks(players clip) to reach the top of the lamp maybe it hasn't rendered, Ill check it when ill open Hammer

Fixed, forgot to make sure all VisGroup options are ON before compiling that's why there were missing functions
