I present to your attention my new map:

zm_zalupa_factory_v1

An incredibly fun map for both camping and hunting.

The map consists of 4 rooms and long corridors. I made this map in less than an hour, because no one gives a shit about the visuals. However, I will be very happy to see the happy faces of players who really like to sit still and camp, as well as the faces of hunters, because there is quite a lot of space for maneuvering here

I hope you will appreciate the map. If this is not a perfect map, then I don't know what else players need to calm their perverted fantasies, except maybe completely empty rooms. If everyone likes it, I'll quit making maps and go fuск myself. From now on I will only make maps like this.
Good Luck HunterZ!!!

this map just makes me go🥵

4 rooms, 4 corridors, each corner a masterpiece in one singular, perfect map. The screenshots may not give enough insight, so let me help out:

Every room, a perfect piece of symmetry, the craftsmanship of that ceiling! It's a ceiling that dreams are made of, an expanse of virtual concrete that seems to stretch infinitely. And the lighting? It’s not just lighting—it’s an ethereal ambiance, casting shadows that dance with the player’s imagination. Just when you think you've seen it all, your eyes are blessed with the sight of that narrow passage in the back. It beckons you forward, teasing the thrill of exploration, promising untold digital adventures beyond its threshold, talking about the map still and not the sprays that will decorate those immensely detailed and crusty walls.

Truly, this map doesn’t just challenge players; it transforms them. It is the map of all maps—an environment so immersive, players may never want to leave. Bravo to the creators, the geniuses who dared to dream of a square room filled with crates. Bravo!

The boxes? Absolutely magnificent. These aren't just boxes; they are weathered crates, each telling a story of resilience, strength, and, dare I say, mystery. The central crate, standing proudly, practically demands reverence. What's inside? No one knows. Why is it there? For you to climb on!

Not just the described visuals are stunning, this map is a strategic symphony, where each box becomes a cornerstone of tactical genius! The box placements are no accident; they’re expertly crafted spots that force players into a thrilling chess match of movement, cover, and split-second decisions. Every nook and cranny behind those boxes? Absolute goldmines of opportunity and danger, creating pockets of tension where champions are made or broken.

The map demands players to think two steps ahead. Ducking on a crate with an autosniper isn’t just about hiding; it’s about plotting the next move, anticipating where an opponent might pop up, and seizing every second as a chance to outwit.

Well imma be real, creativity in the sense of visuals, setting and the map layout is 0, the spots seem really good though. I walked and jumped around a bit on those crates and it did seem really interesting for humans to hold and for zombies to infiltrate the humans defense. Plus point on the maps file size, however, i hope you will soon find a banger idea that satisfies everyones demands and then you can finally be really proud of yourself! (ppl once rtved to royalcourt instead of cbble so how is that hm?)

I will skip over the dick-riding above me and just say this.

Map is too small. It certainly,100%,will not support 50+ players,or even 40+. Humans will just easily get overwhelmed every round.

Almost all spots have 3 (if not more) ways to access them, giving that the spots themselves have barely any space for more than 2-3 people to hold them without the rest of them edging.

It's true what you said, most people do not give a shit about the visuals, but that does not necesarrily mean make tight/unbalanced maps without any better visuals.

Also, you mention space for maneuvering for hunters. I as a hunter myself walked all over the map for more than 5 minutes, which is more than enough given the size of it,and I don't see the space you are talking about in the slightest.

I apologize for the hard criticism, but I feel like this is a straight downgrade from the rest of your projects. To be precise, this project of yours is similar to zm_zmso_fix,but greatly lacking the spots and space of it.

And I know this is not the thread to rant about it but PLEASE let's not compare royalcourt to cbble again.
Just because a map gets rtv'd,that shouldn't dishearten/change your own opinion about the map.
And most definately,we should not compare new maps with maps that have been on the server since before some people were even born..

I am not sure how you will go on with this project, but it would need a big makeover..

Royalcourt has absolutely nothing to do with it. I automatically trigger when I see maps like zm_zmso. Absolutely soulless crap made in an hour, without its own interesting idea. These are just rooms and empty corridors. And with all this - people praise this map. People like to play on it, camp endlessly. If I had seen in person how this map was made, how its author at least put his soul into it, hoped that his map would become a national favorite, then maybe I would have been moved by it and would not have felt such negativity. But I just see it as hastily made garbage.

Yes, it really pisses me off and irritates me. Yes, I express my opinion this way. I know that no one needs my opinion on this matter, and I know that I am not a cool map creator, that my works are not new. I am just furious with the fact that ... This is really some kind of injustice. Everyone says that my maps are crap, although I have noticed more than once how players are stupid in most moments. On those maps where they play 24/7, they play like "professionals". But as soon as they enter my map - their behavior changes, as if they entered the game for the first time. Constantly standing on the edge, constantly killing their teammates, shooting zombies in the head. Sometimes they do not shoot at all, but they blame only the map.

Sometimes I see "Tired of the old maps, why don't they add new ones?". Really, why don't they add new maps? Maybe because you always skip them? Again the same topic, I know, but I just can't help but mention it.

The map itself is not garbage, and I am pretty sure the creator took some valuable time to make it,it wasn't rushed, even the name of the map itself suggests it (it has"fix" in it).Yes the visuals are simple, but there are two floors, which include balanced spots and plenty of space to work with. Also, this map was a hunter favourite popular in the glory v1 days and I can see why it has also become a favourite of mine.Don't forget that zmso was a special map before and every time I personally launched it after having it voted for,it got rtv'd almost immediately. Why? Because weirdly enough, that's what people on v3 do when they see a new map they don't know.

My previous statement can also explain this. You can't compare the behaviour of a player on a map he has played for years to the behaviour of the same player on a completely new environment. He doesn't know where to go,where to stand, what to do to be more effective in a spot he hasn't seen before and of course,he dies on the first few rounds. Therefore, his instinct kicks in and just..rtv's to play a map he is familiar with.

Sometimes I see "Tired of the old maps, why don't they add new ones?". Really, why don't they add new maps? Maybe because you always skip them? Again the same topic, I know, but I just can't help but mention it.

There are plenty of maps in the normal nomination list. There are even just as many on the special map list. Of course,if someone plays like 10 hours every day for the past years, they will eventually get bored of them and it's logical to do so.
However, that does not mean we have to keep adding maps that don't fit the server criteria just to have "something new to play on". Every map provided in the forum is tested by admins, map makers etc etc but only a special admin has the final word for it to be added.
Just because many maps don't make it to the list it doesn't mean we skip them or ignore them.

Enlarged the rooms and made them more "different"
