That could really make things interesting and get some players over to v1, because they would still want to use their favourite weapons. Should balance the servers. Only problem would perhaps be the lower ranking of v3 and some confusion by the players :D
If other people have the same impression of them as me and several others then I feel like this will only work once. If there really are few players, it used to be possible to have a bit of fun. Now the bots ruin it - in fact, they ruin it even if you are trying to play normally :p
I almost...
A big problem these days is that the number of people playing on V1 at a given time is unpredictable. Sometimes a Wednesday evening will have ~30 players for several hours, other times there will be 5 players and a few bots. This then has the issue of the snowball effect "catch 22" - people see...
Cool to see that my spray has inspired this. It wasn't actually made by me - Auxzschach made it for me!
I can make stuff though! I will pre-emptively withdraw from the competition so that others have more of a chance xD and I will support the server by buying VIP sometimes.
I present Epic Zombie!
Well yeah, but that's the point, the chat wouldn't be spammed if it could actually be hidden. But I understand that the abuse of the command outweighs the advantage of reducing the time.
I hadn't thought of binding that, so thanks.
Can I bump this?
Does the delay between zstucks have to be 30 seconds? I am constantly getting stuck to people and dying, and I see it happening to other people.
Also is the zstuck command as stupidly written as I think? You cannot do /zstuck to hide it in the chat and there is no console...
I think you're giving players too much credit here, TeZ. I don't like v3, especially on 4way. Say I'm trying to use the elevator, CTs simply train their aim at the bottom and shoot over and over and over. It takes away the fun and turns it into a game of dodge for the zombies. And the sound, the...
Thanks WolfRam, I appreciate the big explanation. :) I was worried there was some problem with my game config or a glitch. Glad to know that isn't the case.
That's interesting, I never noticed it on other maps. The old marbble doesn't have the problems, instead it has some fog effects.
I tried changing graphics to max but it didn't fix it for me.
Out of interest, why is it possible to see through the red shipping containers in zm_marbble_v2_edit? Is this intentional? It just seems a little unfair that a zombie cannot hide behind a container without humans seeing that they are there from far away.
