Description
He abused his prerogatives:

We were on a really bad map to be CT (4_way_xmas) and he enticed players to vote so to extend the map between 25 to 50 minutes. This has been done 2 times.

Of course some of the players followed through as they would on any other map (personally I would have voted to prolong 25 minutes if I were on rush or cbble).

I find it quite unacceptable that an admin entice players with such frivolous options, especially on a map where most of the time zombies win because it is so big with a bad design to be a CT (yes I have said it, you cannot organize CTs to hunt, someone always teams and ruins game play).

You can check the chat log. In my opinion he was very arrogant when I protested (and yes, I called him out, he did bad admin work in this situation).

Hello,

since the first vote was tied and we could not get clear decison for current extend of the map, I decided to put up second vote and we decided for 50 more mins on the current map, so the vote was straight legit. . Everything was going legit and people even demanded it for it, what do you dont understand about democracy? I have no idea what you are tryin' to reach with this abuse report as I said earlier in the game. You need to understand that admins can do whenever they want vote and you cannot deny it whether you are against it or nor. All in all I was tryin' to solve this issue with you ingame but you wanted to report me for this legit action, which is wrong.

Quick reminder for you this is quote of one our staffmember:

What vote was tied? I saw two votes for extending the map.

And speaking about map vote, I only saw a vote for some unknown maps, right when we were busy climbing up the ladder... with zombies at our back.

And what king of person in their right mind suggests 50 minutes?

Speaking of democracy, it is a loose term, what you think it might imply is different according to what continent people might come from. And keep "eating" the same thing for 50 minutes sounds more like sheep socialism of the masses.

i say you were wrong, the map (4_way) is wrong for this type of server as well..

Here is the answer: Admins are allowed to make a vote whenever they believe it is good. Good for map variety, good for entertainment, good for fun. There will always be players that dont like a specific map or a specific vote. Just like in real life you cannot make everybody happy all the time. But majority liked this map and the vote, this in fact is what democracy is all about @Spells. It is about repsecting the majority's will even if you dont share this opinion.

The reported matter is not what we call abuse. The admin started a vote and acted by the outcome of this vote.

Moreover I want to ask you to provide a demo if you report our admins for abuse. WIthout any proof 99% of all abuse reports are invalid. Please see the notes here: "Reporting an abuse is a serious matter. Do you hold all the proofs requested for an abuse request?"

Conclusion: No abuse. But for the future I recommend not to extend maps more than 15 minutes to prevent this from happening again as a lot of players are waiting for their favourite maps and it is not necessary to play the same map for 1 hour.

This is the best map we got and among most popular maps since more than a decade mate. It is perfect for this mod, there is no map that suits this mod better than 4way.

Thank you Easy for acknowledging that the extension (recommended by c$) was over the top.

As for the map being the most popular, well history as shown that when one man is wrong there is little damage, but when the majority is wrong the consequences can be terrible for all (extremism was quietly approved and loudly embraced y the majority) . This map provides the perfect occasion for people to cheat, block, team, etc. I guess this is why it is so popular... says a lot about the "majority" of the people playing on the server.

@c$: you should travel more, based on your understanding on democracy and your message signature it seems you still have a great deal of immaturity...
