Greetings

The admin in question is Norway. We started a new map that had a "Disco" area in it with music and lights, i came across this are while infected with other players. We just danced and used flash lights, having fun until round end. On next round i got infected and ran to the same disco area, There were both CT and T players dancing and having fun, I noticed a custom skinned player standing on the disco box, i could be mistaken, but they seemed to be Admin. I joined in the fun

Immediately, Norway sent me a message asking why i wasn't playing and i told them "Having Fun". I immediately got "Kicked for Teaming" (6. No teaming! Zombies do not help humans and humans do not help zombies!). I would have just accepted the fact and let it go, but why weren't the other CT's and T's called out and kicked too?

I rejoined and called Norway out and asked why i was kicked for teaming, a few other players called out admin abuse too. I told Norway that i wasn't teaming and that it was stupid i was kicked. I was was immediately kicked for "Respect" (cant quote the kick error as i quit after this).

If we cant have a conversation with the admin that kicked us about reasons we were kicked, not to fight, but rather to understand and preventing it in the future, what enforcement does the server rules have?

*(6. No teaming! Zombies do not help humans and humans do not help zombies!) I am to understand that CT's knifing zombies into other CT's and, zombies blocking other zombies from reaching CT's is "Teaming" Dancing with other players does not seem to break this rule, ESPECIALLY if only one player was punished for it.

Hey!

First of all, you can type !rules or /rules in chat, and you'll see our rules, beside always listens to the admins

In this case, you dont got your facts right

In huntingpark map many is teaming/not following the game objective due to discomusic

I gave a warning first
Then a few slaps, no reaction
A few got slayed for teaming/not following game objective (zombies & humans dancing together)
Another warning - no reaction
You and another guy got kicked for teaming/not following the game objective - still zombies & humans didn't care
After warning about instantly changing the map if people didn't obey the rules I would change map, wich I did after a while

Changed back to zm_cbble
You joined again and were accusing me for admin abuse and I tried to explain to you, but you didnt listen, and you started to insult me
Then another kick came; reason "Behave"



No matter what map it is, always follow the rules - in this case follow the game objective, dancing around as zombies & humans is not part of the game.

You're a liar, you know it, and if others took the effort to go through server chat log and kick request, they would see it too.

Jonas let you off with a slap on the wrist, other admins may not have been so kind in the same situation. There's no abuse here and I don't appreciate you flat out calling one of our admins a liar when the only one misrepresenting the situation is yourself. Follow the rules in the future and you won't have to deal with making up situations of abuse.

During the above question, there were still CT's and T's dancing on the floor, but despite the fact the "L 04/22/2022 - 17:54:37" warning wasn't directed at me and despite the fact "L 04/22/2022 - 17:54:40 - L 04/22/2022 - 17:54:42" I wasn't slapped, i got kicked

You're a special admin that should have picked up on this. Why i need to explain this log to you is beyond me. I retract that Jonas is a liar, but as admin he should have "Let me off with a warning" that i didn't get, instead i got kicked twice for something i wasn't ever aware was wrong.

Understand that i don't want to argue, Understand that i felt an admin was abusing their power, understand that Jonas "Punished" me without warning like they claim.

The map is hectic, and frankly imo stupid to even play because of situations like this. He warned and slapped a number of people and you were at least on the server at the time, even if not directly involved. With a situation like that stupid disco room, I'd imagine Jonas is looking to be lenient given that players tend to rule break more often than usual on that map. As the infractions in that room continue it obviously wouldn't be practical to note everybody involved in every round or to somehow warn them all individually or just continually issue slaps to a random assortment of people, so Jonas was just scaling up punishments from the first case with slaps to kicks before ultimately swapping the map. A kick isn't any form of prohibitive punishment, it's purely a warning, and in this case you have already admitted to teaming and are trying to argue the nuance of our teaming rule to say what you were doing was not teaming. Just to clarify that point, your interpretation of the rule is incorrect.

The simple bottom line here is you were breaking the rules by your own admission, and Jonas warned you in the form of a kick. You rejoined and were not particularly fond of Jonas's actions, and as you kept bringing it up he again opted to warn you with a kick. There was nothing wrong with his behaviour in either kick, he did not abuse his powers in warning you for your actions.

I don't know why you're attempting to break down the logs and tell me I can't read them or determine if they're abusive or not, being condescending to everyone isn't exactly going to help whatever case you think you have. You're a biased party here upset over Jonas's actions, I'm a random guy who opened log files, read your admission to teaming above (and attempt to argue what constitutes teaming), and can see a clear situation where people were warned for going against the game objective (and yes a kick is a warning if that was not already made clear). Even if we operate on the assumption half the server were going against the game objective, Jonas is still within his right to warn for that very reason and that can absolutely include selectively kicking a few people to make the point heard, and in such a case you would just be one of the unlucky parties to have been kicked. That still is nowhere near abusive.

There is truly nothing else to say on the matter and given your continued attempts to nitpick irrelevant technicalities I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread.
