In this situation I think it would've been a bit too harsh to issue a ban. If you had told him to move back and he would've continued to stand in that spot then I would've probably issued a ban.

Also: if you didn't know you could've jumped through him if you have a bind for "!zstuck" and know how to use it properly.

In your next ban request: please take a screenshot of status in console after you have stopped recording your demo and upload it as an attachment to your ban request.
