the second book is way way better than the first book, and the TV show only covers the first book IIRC. watching it this week

dark history lover here ! it is amazing how fucked is modern days to put censur even on archived historical material. Youtube is a peace of shit platform when it is not anymore about idiot kids praknsters what modern potato kids only know what to watch....

For whom not intrest in this history ,in super short version, story about vampire was made on real person knowed by manny names as Vlad III , Vlad The Impaler, Vlad Dracul. a person from nowdays Romania, who was knowed back in 14. century as sadistic viloant man to all his enemys and own persons who stand against him to disagree and it result with sutch sadism, brutality what normal person can not to grasp the scale of it. In that time Balkan and Slavic lands , the peoples who lived there belived the the dead can return and drink the living blood. Basicly it is a myth created by Eastern European folklore. 1897 Bram Stoker wrote a novel using that sadist's name Dracula in his ficion. Fun fact origins of name Dracula accualy means in the vernacular "Dragon" or "Devil" . Even before Vlad got killed the peoples already belived the vampires but that novel from Bram Stroker creat a total ficion and as time go by that ficion have twisted turns in such ways into nowdays understanding with name Dracula. i found this so intresting.
