When you suggest something to others, especially to more people(e.g. a community), you always ought to be prepared for both, acceptance and criticism(!) — no matter the age.
By bringing up a method to trick and/or avoid punishment which came from an intentional, self-centered and unjust action, which violated clearly stated rules(that is to say if we are talking about cheats, exploits, etc.), and also disturbed the peace of the just who play by these rules and do not break them for the sake of fairness and harmony, it is only natural to gain more of the latter.
