What's wrong with my computer?

Hey,

Today i talked to another player.

After some time, i asked him about his FPS.
He had 90 while i hat 18 FPS.

I asked him about his system.
He's using a GT 525 and im using a GT 425 (Not much difference, i think)

He's using an i3 with 3.2 gh and im using one with 2.4(M370)

The i3 has a Windows-Index of 3,9 my Graphiccard 6,5.
Whats wrong with the processor?
What can i do against this?

When you asked him about his fps did you take care that the settings were exactly the same e.g. amount of players, view direction or point of view?

CS:S benefits from a strong CPU which means that every program running in the background on your computer may influence the fps. And he has a bit stronger cpu than you.

Also check your graphical settings ingame if you want to compare your computer.

Get this program, Advanced system care, its free, cleans up you computer and has a game booster on it, i use it all the time increases fps alot !

You can always try some fps configs, just google css fps config and look around.

btw, are you playing on a laptop?

quit gaming ;P harhar with 18 fps ;P
you can get a fps config wich means it takes out alot of stuff wich results in to more fps.
or you can go to options and make your video settings low as possible like screen 800x600 and make all icons low like texture anti alias all off or low your fps must increase now for sure, only you will have ugly view ;P

My lowest rating on all my windows ratings is 7,5/7,9(memory). Anyways you should have 8GB+ RAM and might consider upgrading your i3 to an i7. It helps a lot

I cant upgrade my Notebook, maybe more ram but this isnt important.

Yep i dont wanna have a computer.
The Notebook is much cheaper than the other computers.
I need a monitor, Windows 7 etc.

So its:
-200 for Monitor and Windows 7

So i have just 600 left :S
