Your pc specs?

This Computers are all shit against my gaming Notbook (no, its shit).

nvidia GEFORCE GT 425m (yeah the card is really bad).
Intel core i3 whatever (bad too)
And i have 4gb ram (if its called so in english).
And a 32bit system, or is it x86 in english? dunno !

And the time my computer needs to start is a new world record (30 minutes sometimes -.-)

All in one: Yeah, its best notebook on world.

:p

and of course my Apple Macbook Air and my Iphone 4 (Info for all Apple-haters/Android-fanboys^^)

how did u get to overclock the Q6600 from 2.4 to 3.5!? other than that lovely specs! your server impresses me too with the raid5!

:)

I tested 4 different CPU (4x Q6600) and I've taken out the best one^^
(max. clock-rate was 4Ghz with air cooling but RAM has limited^^)

4xQ6600 (26).JPG

My BIOS settings:
CPU Ratio Setting: 9.0
FSB Frequency: 385
-> 9* 385 = 3465 Mhz (almost 3,5Ghz)
CPU Voltage in BIOS: ~1.36 V (although CPU-Z displays a little bit different voltage)
-> tested the stability with different programs like Prime95, 3Dmark and so on

CPU is cooled by Zalman 9700 Cooler. (under load CPU doesnt get hotter than 60-68 degrees)
I am happy with this configuration atm, but i want to upgrade MB/CPU/RAM soon :)
---
I also want to virtualize the server (ESXi 5) so i can run Windows-Server and OpenIndiana on it
(for ZFS-filesystem with RAID-Z2 (equal to Raid6) etc.) :). But this will take a little^^

oh wow so the cpu even if same model may differ that much? i have a i5-2400 but i dont dare to overclock it over 3.4 because i have a normal fan and it's not the K edition.
also never thought about having linux too? the most powerfull server os.

yeah, all CPUs are varying in quality (though it's the same model), especially at high clock rates (overlocking).
--
Yes, the i5-2400 (without K) is not optimal for OC, but its still possible to overlock a little :)
--
Yeah, when i set-up ESXi, I will also try Linux and other OS

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (OCed from 2.8 to 3.5) @ Mugen 2
Gainward GTX460 GLH (It was already overclocked, but I OCed a bit more :) )
8GiG of Ram (Corsair, DDR3),
MSI 870A-G54
Cougar PowerX 550W
NZXT LeXa S
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1000GB
Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB

and my peripherie:
Microsoft Sidewinder X6
Logitech G500
Sennheiser PC 350

I thought about upgrading my Graphiccard, but currently I'm only playing CS:S and few other games, so I guess I will pass 2013.
