there's a chatbox on the forum? why don't I know this?!? I guess I'm a 'non-admin' and thus not a valuable member of this community :>

I though maybe you could set the chatbox public, i mean, i can't even use it anymore since i'm not admin on forum. I didn't receive any answers to my questions anyway on this so.. who cares

The forum chat-window is restricted to admins only. This is the only place where admins can chat with each other about internal matters. There's no way the head-admins would approve this. You could however use our IRC webchat, at top-right. It's public.

I don't think anyone would use this irc. And seriously when I was admin, I didn't see any special admin case discussed in chatbox Just funny pictures and people chilling. Well, it's just an idea, and I think it could be fun for everyone...

Most things that are discussed go on behind the scenes. The chatbox isn't meant for serious discussions.

I believe we should have a public chat as well. Yes i do know we have the IRC, but it would be easier if we also had a public chatbox.
