Yeah I can confirm the abuse. Just realised my CSS in Finnish but in the screenshot "Äänestys peruttu" means "voting cancelled". Paw said he just wanted to test if it works.

Also what exactly are the rules for spamming? Paw seems to think that asking for people to RTV more than once is spamming. Torben Digeldauer was gagged for 30 mins as seen in the screenshot. He was asking people to RTV but it was not even near spamming.

I hope you can see from your own description that he was not intending to abuse by stopping the rtv.
Past that, I'm at school so I can't look into logs and the like so apologies for that, if there is no response from paw or another spa by tonight I can look into it more then.

I don't believe him. I think that was quick cover up by Paw. Why would you test something like that on a public server? He also stated that it's a good map and must have gotten annoyed by the rtv. Please check if Littlecity was nominated by Paw in the previous map.

I was also there and want to complain about this, he said he tested it but I told him to do voting again but he didn't started voting again and he went quiet.Everyone got furious about that and after a while we all did rtv again and he left the game on next map.
This is clearly abuse albeit it's a small abuse but I think HA/SPA need to hear about this issue.

Sorry for writing in here, but i just wanna say something. Maybe Paw cancelled the rtv, but hey is it really necessary to make a abuse report about this? paw is a great admin and hes always been, sometimes we admins do mess up aswell but for the most time i think we all admins are trying our best for you guys, im just thinking this is abit to drastic in my opinion its just an rtv cancel, i would understand if it was about abusing kick/ban etc..but this? cmon guys. SPA/HA can remove this if they feel like it.

I'm not gonna lie and say that it wasn't abuse (As I messed up and was actually stupid enough to cancel the vote as I lost control over myself. Got pretty triggered by chat as things was getting out of control (Heck, I even issued 5 gags throughout that session.) like chat going by too quick making it impossible to keep track of who said what and impossible to handle every "provocation" or violation of the server rules with all the spam/flood without me spamming the chat with tons of warnings making it look an even more mess and at the end of it when someone started using the N-word I thought it was for the best to leave as I couldn't handle the pressure anymore and another gag would just make the situation look worse. Pretty stupid way to get oneself suspended/ or in worst case kicked out of the admin team indeed.). However the map was quickly rtv'd right after again.

Alright i took a look at all of this and here's my 2 cents.

Paw canceled a vote he shouldn't have canceled, the command if working or not, he knew what it could do.

I have been admin for 3 years and 11 months, i know that sometimes when the server is messy it can be stressful and hard to administrate. When i got in such situation i would call another admin to help out which paw could have done but might not have thought of. Trust me, administrating isn't all fun and games, it can be a difficult job to handle.

Regarding spamming i do see a minor violation but not something i would have gagged for, at least not more than 5 min. However continuously asking people to rtv is also annoying and shouldn't be done, it's people's own choice if they want to rtv or not.

Leaving after someone says the n word is not very good tho, at least give a warning/gag before doing so would be the best.

I will suggest that Paw perhaps apologizes for canceling the vote and agrees to not test commands that might affect the game play when the server is full.

Hey, I only saw what he wrote in little_city. He was trying to get people to rtv and also replying to your posts. I don't think it was spamming or flooding but that's just my opinion. People should be allowed to ask people to rtv at least for a while. Binding a key to "RTV" and spamming that should obviously not be allowed.

I can go in for appologizing/promising not to do it again regarding the incident, but when it comes to Torben's gag I would atleast ask you to check logs if there is any context missing regarding the warnings he received before you plan on removing it atleast as I'm pretty sure I marked the reason for the gag mainly for provoking.

I don't think writing rtv once after being warned is worth a second warning, neither is the message about 2 more rtv's needed. But the spamming from earlier and calling the map crap and so on is worth a gag. However the length is a bit harsh compared to the offense so I've reduced that gag to 4 hours.

Its pretty simple, Torben kept spamming chat telling people to rtv, admins asks not to spam the chat. And what does he do? Now he starts arguing with admins in the chat and spams even more! lol double gag! hahaha


Just off topic with regular CSS users for a sec and how they usually talk to admins.
Typical troll attitude i see often in css =
people spam, then argue with admin, then say shit like "IL GO ON FORUMS ABOUT IT WHAA, 5 Messages a second isn't spamming! threatening crap like that lol. its really bad. they know they spammed, they know why they got gagged, everyone knows its in the chat log. like torben (just an example) knows he spammed and argued with admin after for no reason.

Then they usually come onto the forums and asks for ungags and keeps saying bad things and says they never spammed etc, its so bad its not even funny lol

well since you apologised paw i guess its fine, if you want to extend map or "not have rtv yet" you can make a vote "once in a while", because cancelling RTV you piss off everyone who wanted mapchange and you kinda control us all with that just because you wanted to play longer, thats all.
