Time and date: 6th December 2014, around 20:00 - 20:15 (GMT +2)

Description: So, we were playing this special map called atix_helicopter.
It happened maybe during the 5th round, this admin WolfRam makes a map vote for another special map. Of course the answer 'Yes' gets more votes.
So some minutes probably pass, and we're getting on very exciting point of the round when Me with another CT are almost the last ones standing, and we've reached the Helicopter which is about to fly us to safety but the danger is not yet over. Then suddenly WolfRam announces us at that very exciting point, "I'm chaning the map now!" And then the map changes.
Feel a little disappointed for that I couldn't play the rest of the round and kinda ruined the fun, I was mad.
(At this part I think the admin did wrong for not waiting for the round to end especially when we were so close to victory).
So when the map changed I asked WolfRam a little roughly: What kind of fucking admin changes the map during the most exciting part of the round when CT are almost winning? Ruining the fun for us.
I get no other explains but "I had to change it."And so I also get kicked which is fair because of my bad language.
But the reason was a little unclear. > "Troll." Like, what did that even mean?
So yes at this part I also think the admin did wrong for not explaining me.

I think it should be a big deal for your community to keep your customers (us, players) happy and make us enjoy playing on your servers but this kind of experience kinda turns it off. Hopefully not much for the other CT who was fighting for the victory with me on atix_helicopter.

WolfRam, asked for map change. Vote ended on yes. WolfRam Changes the map(after again, saying:map changing now). You insult the admin. The admin kicks you.

In my opinion, from what you wrote. WolfRam did nothing wrong. Your also admitting that the reason you didnt like the map changing at that time, was because you, out of, let me guess 60 people in there, was "winning". Point being, you wouldnt report WolfRam, if you were one secound away from being killed, the moment the map changed.

Im pretty sure this isn't a abuse case so there isn't any need to talk more about this situation.
Its not the best way maybe if he doesn't wait I don't know if its right or not, I just take up your quote to explain it. If wolfram waited and you said he didnt then its your issue who did anything wrong here.

*sigh* ..i was waiting for this.

Yes, i made the map vote just as always. And as always i add the "/msay changing map now!!" when its 1 minute left in the game. Then people know im changing the map within the next minute.
The reason for this is that i actually have to choose the map i'm going to change to manually from a list(a very long list) and if i forget to do that within the time-limit, it will change to the standard map-vote-winner. If that happens i will either wait until next mapchange or change map just after we already have changed map. THAT is extremely unpopular.
Some times i forget and am a bit late with the message, but usually things go smoothly. (btw, the next map was zm_zombiecruise_fixed, and that is on the last page, or next to last page).

I could use the setnextmap command, but i never remember the full map-names and there is a lot of them.

now, you where not the only one messing about. but i have warned all of you several times, and several other admins have too.
The kick was to give you a strong warning that i was loosing my temper with you. And i dont
see any but good reasons for making sure that you follow the rules. You have a bad chat-log with many insults you annoy other players and you keep poking the admins.

you are lucky noone have banned you yet.

Let me explain and clarify things.

Start with Bestio and why I was poking him:
We were playing Lila Panic, a wild zombie infection appears and I try to search for a camp spot.
Find the spot where Bestio is camping with others, Bestio jumps on my way when I'm struggling going through the window.
Getting infected and frustrated. Poking Bestio a little but it seemed useless because he was just pretty much ignoring.
Then the next round a zombie called "Fucker" infects me and that's what I say: 2014-12-06 18:26:12 Fucker killed me .
And I got slayed by Bestio.
Well that's pretty much it.

Then the next part.

Just posting here to confirm what he says, Finny isn't a bad guy, I know him for over 6 years, but you've to understand that it can be frustrating to almost win and suddently the map changes...

Though the insults toward the admins are not acceptable, he shouldn't have said it.

However the abuse was about me kicking him for being a troll in my opinion,

I warned you ahead of time about the map-change, i did the same on the map before when we was playing zm_marbble_v2 and changed to Atix.
I did not see you complain then and you had to have seen the same message "changing map now!!" 1 minute before i changed the map.

with my teammates killing all zombies before the helicopter reached the final destination, will you not say that is the same?
Because that could have happen too, and i dont see you raging at other players when that happened.

You say that a few have complained about the way you change the map.
A few is too many. I think a fair way for map changing is to wait for the current round to end. Nothing is going on anymore; Change the map.
If you are for some reason uncapable of changing the map with that short time before the new round starts or the map gets changed to some very other map; just gonna quote here your own words

Then it is because of your lack of admin experience. You should be capable of changing the map to the one it is supposed to be after the round ends.
If you can't do that for some reasons, being a little slow or what ever, you can always cancel the 'normal map voting'. You might need a little practice with admining.

No it's not the same. The round ends naturally: Humans win by killing the zombies. No-one changes the map before the last zombie dies or what so ever.
And at my situation this could not have happened because there were probably four humans alive, me and another one on the helicopter, two others camping somewhere, and over 35 zombies.
Not even an cheater could kill all the zombies.

And then, let the carnage begin..

So you are pissed because of the way how I poked Bestio for his mistakes? (The blocking and the slay).
Or atleast it feels like you are standing up and revenging at me for Bestio, who barely even opened his mouth when I was asking him why did he do the things he did. (The block and the slay).
Or what is this, where is Bestio? He should be tagged to this thread and he should say something, admit that he did wrong or just anything. As he clearly has a part with this since you brought him in it.
And no, I'm not denying my bad language but I do apologize for it.

Hello Finny,

i understand your situation very well. It happens to me once in a while that the map is changed during the round and i am one of a few survivors left. It's kind of a cool feeling to have like 40 zombies against you and the abrupt end of the round is very annoying. But according to the vote the majority wanted to skip the map and we do our best to satisfy our players. A rtv would have caused the same but with so many players it's unrealistic to ever have enough players voting for it. So our admins take over and manage the map votes. We can only apologize to you for having your round being ruined. I'm very sure that WolfRam would have waited for the round to end if there was only a few seconds left and he has had the time to manage the setting of the next map.

Besides that it's not advisable to insult admins and players on the servers and forum even if it might be meant jokingly. Furthermore the SPA/HA team follows every (abuse) thread and takes action if necessary because we don't want an admin handle the servers who is not capable (e.g. of changing a map properly).

All in all, we are aware of the problem when changing maps but it's not our intention to annoy players on purpose.

ok, your attitude is definitely a problem.
Xylon and a few others have indicated that you are a decent guy but you are loosing gained ground here. fast.

I dont know if you are an admin, have been an admin or have only been kicked by an admin, but dont tell me my job. Different servers have different rules and different settings.
Just to make sure i was right, i double checked with one of our HA's and he confirmed what i already knew that canceling the vote will still bring a map-change.
And from the moment ct or zm wins and the maptime is out, no more than 2-3 seconds will pass before the map changes automatically. If the mapvote is canceled it only changes to the next one in the nominate-list. so, you see there is no time for me to change map in 2-3 second. No admin can do that.

this might be a bit unclear, but im referring to the fact that the round can end at any moment for many reasons, at bad moments, for anyone. This time it just happen to be you.

I feel i have been very clear about this, its you continuous bad attitude against admins that got you that kick-warning. thebeastio got nothing to do with this. We dont punish players for talking to admins, but we DO punish players for this kind of language and rudeness:


I have told you why i do the map-change like i do. And 3-4 guys have asked me about it after the map was changed, i told them why and they where fine with it after. To make up for the sudden map-change i add the message warning everyone at the 1 minute-left mark so they are prepared. I do believe that is fair.

And as a final note, i urge you strongly to change your attitude while typing on the forum. Your attitude is a problem.

To be 100% accurate the map will change to the next map on the nominate-list. you know, the list you see when typing "nominate". (as i understand)

Now you do what you gotta do as an admin, if you feel like I need to have a cool down, go for it.

If this post you just posted had been just like the last one, my response would have been a cooldown-request for you, of our HA/SAP, at an unknown but extensive amount of time (no joke)
