a freaking network cable, that's what broke yesterday while all were on holiday!

and guess what? it was the cable connecting our server to the rest of the world!

it has been restored this morning and the server is finally back up.

I'm pleased to announce that the status of Advaldo (stan) has been upgraded from SPA to HA!

this is a surprise for him too and if he doesn't want this red title he can ask me to reduce it again.

almost nothing will change but he's now having access over all the forum and root servers.

he's a very good guy and very helpful, if you have anything against this decision reply to this post...

oh wait.. it's locked. ;D

servers are back after a hour downtime caused by a random root crash.
this is the second in a week.... we will try to track down the problem

maintenance on root2 occured so mysql was down.

also a new css update came and had to update all.

ladies and gentlemen today i reinstalled server1 from scratch!

now it's smoother and totally up to date!
you'll notice that also when pressing alt tab you can go to your desktop without problems, before you could have been seeing a black screen.

there should be less lag and few new things like rules on join and advertisements changed a bit.

what needs to be fixed right now is:

admin skins
sponsor (in few minutes) - done
radio plugin (a new one)
server hop - done

we will change the hardware soon and hopefully most of the lags will be gone then

server will have downtimes tomorrow, probably around 7AM, our provider will install a new HardDrive since one of the two broke last week.

Fortunately we run with RAID 1 (mirroring) and we lost no data.

Server V4 will be up anyway since it's on the second server.

we're sorry for the small issues with the fast download server, we restored a backup and updated it in a few minutes, now it should be even faster to download
