Can't use in-game chat

The things I write do not seem to pop up on the in-game chat feed, my callouts work sound-wise but do not show up either. All my commands such as (rtv, zmarket etc) works but are now shown in the game chat.

I've tried rejoining, restarting my computer/steam, and reopening CSS without luck.

Please help!

Thanks for the help, I guess that shows that the issue is on my end somehow.

All I did was to write this command "cl_mute_all_comms 0" into the console and my messages are now visible to me again.

Hi, when I played yesterday there was something wrong with Steam. All the games were so laggy, I literally couldn't play, but today seems to be fine!
