Ban/Gag reason Blocking
Desired outcome Reduce the length of my punishment
Statement of grounds
Hello, EH community.
I disagree with the ban I recently received. I was unaware that jumping in front of a teammate is considered a type of blocking and that it could've result in a ban. I am playing on your servers for a quite long time as it's the first time it's happened to me. It shocked me due to not being aware of this act and that it could've lead to consequences. Upon reflection, I now understand that my interpretation of blocking differed from the view of the admins. It's for me clear now that there was a misunderstanding regarding the interpretation of blocking in this context. My personal view of blocking was always interpreting blocking meant preventing a teammate from reaching a specific place such as them crossing one side to the other or simply just jumping on a box to reach a higher distant from being infected.
In addition, I fully acknowledge this rare scenario can effectively lead to a ban. However, I don't believe I should have received a ban of 12 months for this, because this is extremely harsh, especially considering the rarity of this scenario. I just want to say that I would have never done this, because LailoCat (6 bans) and MonsterGrizzly (3 bans) are also well-known duo to be kind of irritating and breaking rules to other players for having a deviant behavior. They're disrupting the game for other teammates for always teaming together, and it caused a reaction that I now regret. They only do it when they're sure no admins are online, and sadly I got outplayed by them by recording me first...
I apologize for any inconvenience or disruption caused by my actions. Thank you for your time and understanding from my personal view.
