Hello again,

this is not a barricade, it's a soda. This situation would be handled by a slap or warning - it's nothing wie ban for and it's nothing you need to make a report for.

Plus there is an at least one admin online, you must not make a report if an admin is online. Ask him for help.

I think there was a misunderstanding. I was using a couch as a barricade, not a soda. The player was destroying it, and I had already informed the in-game admin, but it seems they didn’t notice. That’s why I decided to report it here on the forum, as I was told before to do in situations like this. Kindly watch the demo until the end so you can see what actually happened.

A sofa, not a soda. True, my mistake, my fingers are sometimes too big for my keyboard.

The rest of my answer still counts.

In this situation it’s not like I’m going to do it every round I play, that’s why it’s frustrating when the admin can’t catch him while I was already reporting online. These people are very sneaky, they know exactly when to stop and when to shoot. In those cases what should I do? I also can’t force an admin to sit in spectator all the time just to watch for this.

For example on cbble, if my barricade is destroyed and I type in chat “.... destroyed my barricade,” the admin doesn’t really know if I’m telling the truth. It just ends up being a chat warning like “don’t destroy barricades,” but nothing more. And of course we can’t expect admins to constantly watch everything—they are also just players who want to have fun.

That’s why we make reports here, for situations admins didn’t notice while playing online, right? If I’m wrong, please tell me how I should act in such cases.

You did right telling an admin. The admin was right warning first, too. That's our policy here. You can't expect any admin interrupting his game immediately just because some player screams "blocker" or "destroyer". Do you know how often players abuse this, trying to troll admins (admins are forced to watch in spec for the rest of the whole round if they switch to spectator)? Can you imagine an admin is playing with another player, defending a spot against numerous enemies? Wouldnt it be unfair if the admin goes to spec, leaving his mate behind? Wouldnt his mate believe that the admin is abusing his power to avoid death? I am sure you understand what I mean.

Still: This isnt a cade, it's a single sofa in a ridiculous spot. A sofa that can be pushed by E, a sofa that prevents players from shooting who want to hold this spot. A sofa that flies away if a player sprays bullets.

I understand it if players (like you) want to try out new ideas (I did and do myself), to me it's a big part of this game - but you cant expect all other players to stop shooting and defending their spot just because you had the idea of pushing a sofa into the shooting direction of a high spot. They want to camp there and deliver headshots to the enemy to score points. That's the original idea of the game (except for the camping part ofc^^).

How you should act in this case? Laugh about it if it didnt work, maybe next time. Sooner or later you'll be on a spot like this with another curious player who wants to test your idea. (Spoiler: it wont work like that, I tried it and found curious players). And in all other cases you'll be up with players who are playing to survive and to score - and they will shoot regardless of your sofa.

Hope you got me right this time.

I understand now, thanks for the explanation. Next time I won’t expect much if it’s a weak barricade like that. Appreciate you taking the time to clarify.
