Hello everyone!

I recently played the Dust2 map on the Zombie Hunting V3 server in Counter-Strike: Source and it's basically just the normal Dust2 with different spawn points, right?
So I decided to make a version of Dust2 with some camp spots but its still mostly hunting the zombies :D

This actually was a edited version of normal Dust2 but with Rain and fog(not made by me) but the map's atmosphere is really great so yeah, here we have a Zombie Mod version of it now :D

I also created a nav-mesh, edited of course but its outdated because since I created the nav-mesh I improved the map and changed some things.
There are also 0 spots where you can go on top of the map, basically anywhere where you are not supposed to go.

I'm not sure if the map is very balanced because I couldn't test it with other people but i'm sure it's fun for Hunters and campers.

There is currently only one issue i found that I dont know how to fix:
- some stuff from the 3D Skybox disappears too early

Feedback and maybe some suggestions would be nice so I can improve the map.

Map is fine but keep getting some errors in console. If fixed, maybe will get uploaded to test server and give it a go. Will have to see other opinions :)

Hello everyone.

I updated the map:
  • removed that new place in the Middle (where the ladder was)
  • added a new camp spot in CT-Spawn
  • small changes to all camp spots
  • Added some inacessible areas around the map so players wont see the map suddenly ending or Nodrawed walls (unless players stack a lot, they will still see)
  • 3D Skybox issue is now also fixed
  • Added some sounds in map, like a thunder at start of every round and a helicopter sound when the time is over

Basically the map is overall improved :D

An important thing for map updates: Always, really always, give it a new name if you change something (zm_eh_mapname_v1, zm_eh_mapname_v2, etc). Otherwise players who already downloaded the previous session receive an error message and cant join the servers.

Please keep it in mind for future updates. I will upload this newer version now - luckily your first update was released quicker than I could upload the original version so this time it is not a problem. But future updates need to be renamed :)

Ps. Add me on steam so I can reach out to you if I am testing your map(s).

Ok I'm sorry, my bad. I will keep that in mind when I may create another map. Yeah I guess im lucky since only one person got the v1 map which was the admin testing it

Yea - poor K4marad xD. But I guess he knows how to fix that issue (deleting map from local /maps folder).
 
Ok crash should now be fixed? This never happend to me on local server but anyway
Sry for the trouble. I removed everything that I think could be causing the crash.

It worked on local server for me too.

Btw: No worries, I am always glad if somebody tries to improve or create maps. This is why we test maps before loading it on our crowded servers :)

Hmmm, ok. Does the server atleast not crash anymore?

The error is clearly related to water, as far as I know - water is generally always difficult to encode))) But it adds a few points of charm to this map, so I would like Richard to fix this error, I don’t remove water) Thank you
 
Here ya go, v3 with all problems fixed(atleast in Local server I dont get any errors) :D This took me almost 2 hours to find out aaaa

small changelog:
  • Removed 10 particle systems(that was the cause of the console errors)
  • Radar
  • Server will now send 3 messages when map starts (E.g. map made by ATeam/Console(inactive), edited by me for elitehunterz)
  • added 2 small boxes on the map. One near T-spawn and one in Bombsite B (see screens) I added those because I wanted players to also be able to sit in a corner one the boxes (I didnt have any better idea xd so I chose a normal crate)
