Description
Set fire and frozen as this admin, maybe got stabbed by a Z and decided to make everyone on the other side of the map frozen. The greatest part is that I didn't had a thing to do with it. Didn't happen only to me. Read server logs, no demo as the admin said, only supposed his eyes lol .

thank you for your contribution. As can be seen in the chat, I had already offered you the opportunity to make a post about this yourself.


Briefly about what happened: I did not record a demo because, in my view, this was initially only a warning. For proper evidence and for bans with a longer duration, I will of course always provide demo proof.


I observed the three of you: one zombie and two CTs who were jumping around each other, doing nothing, looking at one another, and trolling. This behavior clearly violates the rules. I observed this for around 20 seconds and then felt forced to intervene.


It is clear that this counts as teaming and was therefore handled with a warning. Of course, it is normal to be upset about such a situation. However, according to your statement, this was not the first time.


All admins know the rules and do not act based on personal preference, but because we are required to enforce them. I do not rule out that mistakes can happen, but in this case, the warning was justified.


That is all I can say regarding the incident.

I was also present on the server at the time that this happend. I will be short and to the point, you where teaming with 2 other players on the balcony. Kateshi has issued a general warning, whitch was ignored by all 3 of you. This is standard procedure, warning and if that didn't caught the players attention, then a light punishment will be issued.
Lets also look into your own backyard, should we? You called admins "lamers" after the incident and now you request justice? When a person finds it self in a frustrated situation, it's best to keep the lid on, and not blow the top. Please be sure that you read and respect the rules. Sorry to inform that I was not teaming with anyone lol. I was not aware of any Z in the balcony, I was shooting right, when I turned left the balcony in front was full of Zs.
Again, do provide a valid proof that I SAW the otherwise your actions are lame and unjustified.

If you are not forced to provide proof it means you both act as gods, meanings you both aren't good admins at all.
You should provide justice between fair gaming and frustrating is to actually read that I did something that I wasn't even aware about.
That means my 2 other pals in the balcony (or at least 1 of them) let the Z in, saw the Z and did nothing.
That doesn't mean I have to pay the penalty for them.

Never the less, I am still curious, where was the Z in my balcony if you both please?

Oh my bad, I have just re-read this again: please sustain what I was doing while they were jumping around? And please also where were they jumping. Because I haven't seen such thing.

I did had someone with me on the balcony, can't tell if 2 or 3 more. And last time I checked my back there were a couple Z under the balcony left side.
Curious that you mention 20 seconds and within that time frame it seems I shot 2 Z's.
So please do explain yourself a little bit better.

I might also ask, where is your proof regarding this post? If we where to be gods, or lame admins as you state, then this post will had be closed long time ago due to lack of proof.

This is straight from our admin rules, and this is the admins respons 21:26:50 [ADMIN] Kateshi: "No [Teaming],[Team killing], else Slay/Ban" , before your light punishment.

There are 2 admins that saw players teaming on that balcony, one of them was you. I/we cannot be taken accountable if you did not pay attention to your surroundings.

Continuing to answer to your questions, the zombie was on the wall side, as the player who infected, on the balcony came jumping from the ledge. No one let a zombie thru. These is one of the disatvatages for an weapon with zoom.

You are right pointing there were other players on the balcony, 2 or 3 CT. There were 2 Z under it (left side), being shoot by the other players on the balcony when I turned right to shoot first Z, that died.

That means something is not working correctly at this point.

You are absolutely correct. Neither here or anywhere.
Still and never the less, the major point is again that you mention 2 players while Kateshi froze 3.
It means that someone paid the bill, someone who was playing fair and wasn't aware of the presence of the Z by then. And that someone was me.

The reason why I am still disputing this is that you are trying to put something on me that I DID NOT DO
Again and please read carefully: the only zombies that I was aware of presence were on my left side, under the balcony being shot by my other team mates on the balcony.

It is totally unacceptable that I will allow you or anyone else to say that I did. Provide proof like I told you or your actions were abusive, with direct interference on the game (at least to me).

Provide proof like your asked before making an abuse report, or it can be deemed as invalid.

I hope you can see what I mean. The only proof that we are requested on, is when a player is banned for cheating. All other small stuff, like teaming, barricade destroying etc. do not require proof.

This is my final opinion on what it has happend:

- the admin was not aware, that you where not aware of your teaming involvement.
It was a worst case scenario, were due to useing a weapon with zoom, you did not see that there where players teaming right beside you, and got thrown in the same bowl.

Again and I will repeat, I am pretty much sure of what I did and what I did not do.

And I apologize if in my opinion, this was abusive as I had zero to do with the case and I got thrown in the same bowl,. as you said.
Please note I could not even be wearing an auto, this could have gone.

I do feel offended yes, from the moment you clear state that I was involved on this.
That is the reason I did not back on this, and kept claiming: provide proof.

At least and finally you had the decency of admitting that I could not be aware of what happened in my back, and I salute you for such thing.
I was really really not aware about anything as described here, as I though we were discussing another possibility, not a freaking zombie near me.
Rolling back here to the beginning of your message, if I was not aware of any Z playground near me, why would I even bother reading what Kateshi said? Would you bother doing it if you were in my position?

We, while humans, do mistakes. It's in our nature.
However, our nature also leaves us margin for a continuous grow in several ways and I sincerely hope that you regard this as a way to do so.
I don't expect any apologize neither from you or Kateshi.
I just hope you both finally realize and understand that you assumed I was aware of what was described here while I had nothing to do with it.

I think this situation has been overblown a little bit too much.
It's hard for admins to keep track of all the players while at the same time enjoying their time on the server.

Admins have to take split second decisions to ensure that everyone continues to have fun, sometimes things are misinterpreted, sometimes players simply don't understand that they were doing something wrong or that they were involved at all.

From the logs alone it's really hard to understand what was happening at the time, and the version I'm getting from admins and from you are somewhat conflicting.
This is an abuse report, which is absent of proof, which invalidates it, however I have pointed out to the admins that it's wiser to make a better distinction between warnings and punishments (whether light or not) such that affected players are more aware of what they're doing wrong before they get punished.

My suggestion at this point is to move on, after all you were not kicked or banned so your record remains untainted.

Should this issue present itself again, a demo would be very helpful, that said we don't ask admins to record demos for all actions they take, think of this like a parking ticket vs a criminal conviction. the burden of proof is much heavier on the latter.

Thank you for your input, which I value and appreciate.

We exchanged opinions up there as you could read, and this wasn't a split second decision also.
This was a bad decision with direct impact to the game and no further proof seems to be required, if like you said, there are conflicting versions. However and in my defense, my version did not change a cent.
With this I'm not saying that admins here versions changed, maybe their opinion about the incident as a whole.

I've moved on this. I would like to have a word with Kateshi about this, as I asked before.

To end up with this crap:
Where I live you can pay parking on street with parking meters (also on the street) or using smartphone apps.
What happens if you get there, park there and then find out the parking meters close to your location are not working, and the app wasn't well coded, not recognizing that area where you were as a paid parking area?
Been there, got the ticket as you said. You know who ended with the ticket? The parking meters inspectors company. As they tried to issue me a ticket while they could not actually get their payment by the means they say they take it.
This means: the parking ticket is yours mate.

This subject was never about my personal record, but the negative impact situations like this may have on other players on the same situation as I were.
It's not my position to agree or not with your message to the other admins. But I find your resolution about it very much healthy and I salute that as it will definitively benefit the fair game players. Lately the whole community will end up earning from it.
