Go-Free - Post your runs!

Cheers man. How do you guys use binds to turn? I was playing with a dude a while back and he convinced me to try them, i lasted about 10 minutes before stopping though as they just turn too slow. Is there a way to change how quickly the key-bind will turn you? Right now it feels like my sensitivity is too high and my movement is all jerky and crapola, without the sensitivity/key-binds though i can't do those spirals.

Yeah you just bind a key to +left or +right, sadly there is no way to change the speed except from holding shift which halves it i believe, turn binds should only be used for doing 180s or spirals and such. Your movement looks fine, which sensitivity/dpi do you use? Most of the best surfers use really low like 2sens/400 dpi

In-game sensitivity is 5 and my dpi is 2000, plebeian levels.

Holy fucking shit...
And you guys say my sens is high???
Dude even I would say you need to lower that... like a lot

Haha, weeeee i'm a helicopter! I just got used to it while going through the learning process of surfing but i agree, i feel like i need to lower it a bit. Most of my movements are on an area the size of a couple of postage stamps.

I agree with lotus, which kinda mousepad do you use also? @Docta

Just some generic mousepad, mate. It's 32cm x 27cm, some cheapo pad.

:( might be another one of those maps that have overlapping endzones.

But you got the time though and knowing that is all that matters :D

True and i know i can beat that 42 time. Just need to lower my sensitivity more cos smooth, small movements feel impossible with it this high

Aye aye. Def the best call to lower it and be conscious of the way you move your arm/hand when strafing (preferably a mixture of both) :)

The map did infact have 2 end zone, i deleted one and changed @Docta time manually. Also nice run doc, i can see you've improved a bunch! Keep it up :D

Thanks for the encouragement and changing the time, appreciate it, mate.

Cheers man, i want to see other peoples runs though, i feel like i learn more when i rip off other peoples methods :). Should do some wee give away to get people to post runs, get them more involved in the forum.
