Ban reason: Provoking and calling admins lame. Using inappropriate spray and seeking for attention the whole time. Extending ban due previous bans

Unban reason: I was warned by the admin "MisterPringles" that my spray is apparently inappropriate, when I joined the server. I did not read what he wrote in chat since I play CSS for the game itself and not for the chat. So I made use of my spray at some point and was kicked afterwards by MisterPringles.
I rejoined and asked him why he kicked me. He explained me the situation which I did not understand.

Apparently, he thinks I use the spray, cause I seek for attention which is not true and not proofed either. If I wanted to seek attention, I would walk around naked outside.
I did not provoke him neither I called him lame. Lame was his nonsense decision he made. Check chat log, please!

I've played on so many server and I've never had a problem with my spray. Other users actually came up to me and appreciate it that I handle this situation publicly and don't hide myself. But that might be another topic.
I've been also using the same spray on EH servers for months. "MvP" and "MisterPringles" were the only ones who mentioned the spray to me today negatively.

I don't think, it says somewhere in the EH rules that my spray is inappropriate.

If you can't see my spray, it's the following: My boyfriend and I are kissing each other.

I would have understood MisterPringles' request, if it had been explained reasonable to me.

I did not intend to cause any trouble and appreciate you guys taking your time for my request.

This is kind of a delicate topic i'd say.

I want to see MVP's reply on this (mvp = misterpringles) reply too.

Anyway by my point of view:
It's okay to be homosexual or straight or whatever, anyway I don't think that it's the perfect place to advertise it in a game where kids and non-kids are playing.
Why not just put a fun spray on so nobody is going to be "bothered"?
I've seen that spray yesterday and I thought about removing it, however It didn't bother me that much to do so, however I understand that out of 64 players there will be those that will be bothered by it (and you know it),
so unless you got a point for showing that off, I'd say it's of no sense in having it as a spray...

Your attitude certainly isn't positive mister infomercial. However let me put in my two cents into this thread also. It is a fact that perhaps the edgy attitude would need an adjustment, and perhaps a lesson needs to be learned in that regard.



It is also true that there really isn't a need to advertise the "assumed" private photo of you and your boyfriend kissing. However, this is a day in an age where such things are becoming more apparent and more common. So such a spray should not be a ban-able offence either. It would be wrong of people to be bothered by such a spray if it does not include a pornographic taste. Regardless of age. That is a form of hate towards sexual orientation.



I however would ask of you to simply change your spray and use something neutral. We do not need to let this go too far for no reason. And also remember to mind your attitude and show a little respect. Our admin team works hard to keep the servers as enjoyable as possible.

This is my opinion on the matter. I leave it up to MisterPringles to give his opinion before a verdict is made.

i appreciate your quick responds.

Maybe you are right and it's not the best place to use this spray. I would have understood it, if someone had said something months ago, when I used it the first time. But no one didn't, so we have this talk about it here.

I am not sure, if kids are offended by two guys kissing. I am proud for what I am and see no reason not to show it.
Straight / heterosexual players also have tons of sprays about women kissing or touching each other. That might effect more than my spray.

@Nikooo777: I am note sure, if the word "bothered" is the right term. Sprays have many reasons to be sprayed. For example, players might identify themselves with the spray or want to show what the like or dislike.

@Ash: I learned my lessons from the other previous two bans, I had. That's what they were for. I was mainly banned for the spray and not the attitude. Even tho I could work on my attitude and rage. MisterPringles wasn't even interested to read or understand what I had to say. I felt like talking to a wall.

People have different opinions. I also appreciate the hard work some admin's do to keep the game running. This could be an endless conversations.
I just wished someone would have come up earlier to me. Not months after. Other admin's were fine with it.
Nevertheless, I will delete my ban even tho I think it's sad and people don't jump over their shadow.

I've not read though everything in detail yet but from what I've so far is that It's about a spray of 2 guys kissing and this is what the problem is about? If so, then If we are to punish for 2 guys kissing then the same must be done for 2 girls kissing (I've seen plenty of they sprays and no punishment). Personally I don't see anything wrong with the spray assuming that its the same spray as i saw a few days back. As Ash said, we live in an age it is acceptable to be gay and it shouldn't be frowned upon and if players are offended by it then that's their problem.

Just to sum up this short post. If we punish for 2 guys kissing then we have to do the same if its 2 girls. Being inconsistent about something so serious will make this community look bad.

First of all, i have to straight up things. Because this topic made under the wrong reasons.
The original ban was 1 hour and was for your attitude and bad behaviour and that for the last 2 days (48hours). When i've checked sb and u're chatlog/behaviour i had to increase it due previous bans for the same minor offences.

Second, im not a homophobic and i/we treat everybody the same and equal. The spray actually didnt bother me, its not even about us 'admins', its mostly what the majority wants. And u kept spraying it everywhere,(maybe HA can check how many times) over people spray just to annoy people. I've got many reports of u acting like a total ass when there is no admin around, (Easy can confirm this) thats why i changed my nickname to MvP and saw everything with my own eyes.

** about the spray, there were 2 kissing passionate and pulling eachother shorts(thats all they had on). Many people were complaining/criticizing about it, they felt offended and inappropriate. This is 2014 and now there are even more social media for gay/holebi/bi then for other things. But because this is still the internet and especially a game for all ages we should have a certain level of intensity.**

I totally agree 100% with Niko, Ash and Advaldo, all they say is common sense, but that is not the issue here. My opinion is people are people and everybody is the same. We dont have business what you do/ are in ur private life and i dont believe at all its you and your bf, it was just a random pic from the internet, u just wanted to rage and provoke in each way u can.

And you see when u're trying hard you obviously can behave, like i see here and in the other thread, u can be polite and act normal, do that also ingame towards everybody. Instead of repeating 'u're a lame admin' and 'get a life' over and over again. It's no use crying over spilled milk but everything we, admins, do ingame is for the best of interests for everybody. We'll never punish just because we have a personal opinion or its just dont fit in our mind/vision.

Hello Mister Pringles,
I thank you for your post. I read through it and I partly agree with you.

The moment you kicked and blocked me afterwards seemed to be because of the spray (check Chatlog). Cause that's what we were talking about, when you kicked me - about the spray. So I don't believe you, when you say the spray "didn't bother you" now. I was angry and that's why I said that "you are laim" and "should get a life". I said it once and not "over and over again". I do apologize for that.

You keep talking about "majority", "annoying", "spraying everywhere", and "u just wanted to rage and provoke in each way u can". I ask you to be objective and stick to the facts, cause it's not true what you say.
Over the months I did get some complains about the spray. I don't want to talk it down and be honest about it. But it was just a few complains, I've received. The "majority" (how you like to call it. maybe you made survey, idk) were fine with it, made funny stupid jokes or weren't bothered, cause they were focused on the actual game.
A spray is there to be sprayed. Nevertheless, I said, I'll delete the spray.

If you say, it's not about the spray, then please correct the ban. And to clarify that, I know I say a lot of bs and I can be harsh. But calling someone "noob" or sth similar is not a ban reason. I don't have the chatlog in front of me. But I know I might have said worse things.

That's why I take the time to take a pause. I'll accept your 3 weeks ban as an admin and I will not ask for a ban adjustment.
