Why video recordings are not acceptable as proof ?

Hi, I was wondering why video recording is not accepted as a proof here ? It is easier for players to record using a keyboard shortcut than using console

I can tell you 3 reasons that I am aware of:

• I saw video recordings with bad quality, where we could hardly identify player names...
• Demo files can provide more information. We can sometimes see player names or watch the situation from other angles that we wouldn't see from a video recording
• Recordings should be kept as a proof. But video recordings might be too large to upload them here and if you upload stuff to youtube or similar, it may be deleted after a while

I also seen faked video proofs or video proofs of situations already handled before (in game or by .dem request).

A .dem offers us admins more options to review the situation. This is why we dont accept YouTube or files like mp4 as proof.
