Server Problems or Issues

OK to all who have the problem:

Its that easy : disable the MOTD....thats it.

Ifound this way just for googling "disable motd"
im such a donk that i didnt search earlier for that.....


Ok guys start CS:S click on Options than on Multiplayer, extended and click on disable HTML MOTD
in german : Optionen/Multiplayer/Erweitert auf HTML MOTDS deaktivieren

THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U JUST TURN OFF THE MOTD AND IT WORKS...FINALLY HALLELUJA

your solution is not constructive for us, would be glad if you'd tell me your operative system atleast, as i said this community doesn't run on happyness or players but thanks to the sponsor (mainly) hence if there is a problem with our sponsor you should help us track down the problem.

Please tell me which operative system you use.

Windows XP home edition

windows vista 32 bit /64 bit / home edition /ultimate ....
windows 7 32 / 64 bit --- home/pro/ultimate ....

Linux

we need to know so we can find the problem
 
windows xp sp2

but that is the best solution just deactivate this motd.....thanks to steam we can decide that lol

on Server V3 i cant connect (overload or something else ... error; sorry havent write up the error xD)
&
ranks are disabeld.
we do not get points for kills or else.

i have xp sp3 and the only way to play is with motd disabled-nothing else helped. rank is working with a little delay

rank always works like that for some reason afaik :D
 
Glass_war server, same problem as @Phanty said about the scoutzknivez server same problem! About every 1 - 2 hour lags...
 
hi thers a problem on v3 the zm are turned in 4:45 and not in 4:50!!!this is too much time!
 
i know u have it on v1 and 2 the same but v3 is another planet then v1 or 2 thats why u have so much players because u havent servers that are gray like the other u have other maps and so that what ppl like variety and not all servers has the same maps and rules please chnage it back
 
I've heard that the server crashed last night, so that all data had to be restored from a backup. Maybe this is the reason!
I think Niko will take care of it when he has time :)
 
HELLO big big problem the ranks are reseted again allthough u wanted to run them to 1000000 its like ur reseting it every 2 month....would be nice if u dont do it that quick maybe all 6 months ...its like ur having made points and have to start from 0 what doesnt make fun for the players who are playing for 2 years or löonger allready on your servers

pls keep them going pls this time!!
 
Hello, first of all, V3 didn't change, i kept the settings from the last backup i had, it's random, between 10 and 15 seconds if i am not wrong.

as for the ranks it's normal to reset them so we give all the new players a chance to be in top1000 too :)

we resetted the ranks so you can win a CS:GO and a nuclear Dawn key
